America's wealth gap is destroying Youth Sports

One in three parents from households <$50,000 a year, told researchers that sports cost too much and make it difficult for their child to continue participating. On the flip side, just one in six parents from households >$50,000 a year echoed the same.

Lower income kids are 6x's more likely to quit sports.

This is according to a national survey of parents by the Aspen Institute’s Project Play initiative and Utah State University’s Families in Sport Lab.
